Abstract

The invention provides a device for testing a universal serial bus port, which is used for testing the universal serial bus port of electronic equipment. The device for testing the universal serial bus port comprises a current detector, a voltage comparator, an analog digital data converter, a microcontroller and a load circuit. The current detector is used for detecting an output current of the universal serial bus port and the voltage comparator is used for outputting an indicating signal and protecting the load circuit through utilizing the indicating signal. The analog digital data converter is used for converting an analog signal and outputting a digital signal and the microcontroller is used for reading the output voltage and the output current of the universal serial bus port and testing four basic transmission functions. The testing device provided by the invention not only can finish the testing of the basic transmission functions of the universal serial bus port, but also has the function of testing a power supply standard of the universal serial bus port.
