The navigation data sharing system includes: a plurality of navigation devices connected to the LAN; and a plurality of sensors connected to the LAN and detecting information used by the navigation devices. The navigation device has a switching control unit (65), a communication control unit (68), and a representative sensor determination unit (64). A switching control unit (65) switches whether the machine operates as a master machine or operates as a slave machine. When the own machine operates as a master machine, the communication control unit (68) distributes representative sensor determination-related information for determining a representative sensor to the slave machines through the LAN. A representative sensor determination unit (64) determines a representative sensor based on the representative sensor determination related information received from the master machine. In particular, only one of the navigation devices operates as a master device.
