The three-dimensional design method and system are operated under a PDMS (Plant Design Management System); a nuclear powder support hanger database consisting of a support hanger composition table is hung below a main menu of the PDMS system; the support hanger composition table comprises support hanger types, type description and inner codes; the inner codes are formed according to part types and the part shut sequence forming the support hanger; each support hanger type is in respective one-to-one correspondence to a style picture and the inner code of the support hanger; the design method comprises the following steps of: establishing the support hanger composition table at a first phase according to the type code, the type description and the inner code; generating a preliminary mode of the support hanger at a second phase according to the support hanger description and a corresponding picture; adding a connecting point and a rooting point by setting parameters; and finally, generating a corresponding a support hanger three-dimensional mode, wherein the first phase and the second phase can be continuously and alternatively carried out, or a novel type support hanger in the support hanger composition table during execution at the second phase can be added and modified.
