Abstract

The invention discloses a method for protecting a break variable distance based on a time domain model. The method comprises the following steps of: (1) computing mode current and mode voltage: performing phase-mode transformation on protecting data to obtain current ix and voltage ux in a mode domain; (2) computing a compensating voltage mode component: establishing a line voltage mode component computing equation according to a uniform lossless circuit model and computing each voltage mode component at a setting point according to each mode current and mode voltage of the circuit obtained in the step (1); performing phase-mode reverse transformation: performing phase-mode reverse transformation on the compensating voltage mode component obtained by computing in the step (2) to obtain a phase component of compensating voltage; and (4) judging an action: comparing the break variable of each phase of compensating voltage computed in the step (3) with the action threshold of a break variable distance element to judge whether each loop break variable relay is required to act. According to the method, the influence of a non-periodic component on break variable distance protection can be avoided effectively, and sufficient sensitivity is achieved on the premise of ensuring the safety.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a sudden change distance protection method based on a time domain model, which belongs to the technical field of power system automation. Background technique [0002] The development and application of sudden change distance relay (or power frequency change distance relay, fault component distance relay) is a major progress in the field of relay protection in the past ten years. The sudden change distance relay has fast action speed, strong ability to withstand transition resistance, and clear directionality. In addition, there is no need to add additional hardware to obtain the sudden change in the microcomputer protection, and it is also very convenient to implement, and has achieved good results in practice. However, the field operation experience shows that the protection range is not stable enough, which is related to the system line impedance ratio. When the impedance ratio of the system impedance and line impedance inc...
