The invention discloses an equipment number distribution method of a digital radio frequency remote system and a system thereof. The method comprises the following steps: a main station sends an update equipment number broadcast packet to all slave stations; after receiving the update equipment number broadcast packet, the slave stations send a request distribution equipment number command packet to the main station; according to a present slave station information table, the main station distributes numbers of slave station equipment and sends a distribution equipment number broadcast packet to all slave stations; according to a destination station, the slave stations update an equipment number of a present slave station for a distribution equipment number broadcast packet of a present station. By employing the method and the system, by utilizing interactive communication broadcast packets of the main station and the slave stations, a problem that modifying a slave station equipment number is difficult in engineering maintenance is solved. Thus engineering personnel can directly execute an operation at the main station and switch to the slave stations, and operations of station opening, inspection, equipment restoration, configuration change report and the like are executed furthermore.
