Abstract

According to the invention, in order to manage telephone service continuity in relation to a user associated with a communication terminal (TC) and at least one communication device (DC), a server (SC) connected to the communication terminal and to the communication device can: switch off the communication terminal following detection of an event relating to the absence of a user in the vicinity of the communication terminal, and activate a call transfer from the communication terminal to the communication device based on a profile of the user. The server can also: switch on the communication terminal following detection of an event relating to the presence of the user in the vicinity of the communication terminal, and deactivate the call transfer from the communication terminal to the communication device.
