Problems solved by technology

This may lead to an inaccurate grasp of the timing of pavement renovation. For example, repairs may occur when the fatigue life of the old pavement still has a large surplus, which reduces the use efficiency of the old pavement and causes waste of resources; When the fatigue life is small, measures such as maintenance and traffic diversion are not taken, resulting in a rapid decline in road surface function, which affects the normal driving of vehicles

Embodiment

[0030] Embodiment: the method for estimating the remaining fatigue life before and after maintenance of highway asphalt pavement, comprises the following steps:

[0031] (1) Calculation of tensile strain at the bottom of asphalt pavement surface layer

[0032] The pavement structure of an expressway is 4cm medium-grained asphalt concrete + 6cm coarse-grained asphalt mixture + 15cm fly ash gravel + 15cm fly ash soil + 15cm lime soil. Large cracks appeared.

[0033] The calculation model of the above pavement structure is established in Bisar software, and the modulus of medium-grained asphalt concrete is 1800MPa, the modulus of coarse-grained asphalt mixture is 1200MPa, the modulus of fly ash macadam is 1500MPa, and the modulus of flyash soil is 750MPa. The area equivalent elastic modulus is 60MPa. Calculated by Bisar, under the standard load of 100KN, the tensile strain at the bottom of the asphalt layer is 1.02×10 -4 .

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for estimating the remaining life of an asphalt pavement of a freeway. The method comprises the following steps of: building a corresponding computation model in a Bisar program according to an asphalt concrete pavement structure to be predicted, and calculating the tensile strains which are applied to the bottoms of various structural layers of the asphalt pavement under the action of a standard load by taking the thicknesses and moduli of the structural layers as calculation parameters; performing core drilling on a hard shoulder, an overtaking lane and a running lane of the asphalt pavement of the freeway on the spot respectively; performing indirect tensile fatigue tests with strain control on core samples of the lanes; and acquiring relation curves of indirect tensile stiffness moduli and load action times in the process of the fatigue tests, comparing the fatigue test curves of the lanes, combining the asphalt pavement to build traffic volume data since the opening of the freeway which are obtained through counting, and predicting the remaining fatigue lives of the lanes of the asphalt pavement. By the method, the remaining fatigue lives of asphalt pavements can be accurately predicted, and the long-term human randomness of the selection of the maintenance time of the pavements is avoided.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of detection and evaluation of service performance of asphalt concrete pavement, and in particular relates to a method for estimating the remaining life of asphalt concrete pavement. Background technique [0002] With the continuous progress of the transportation industry, China's highway construction has made great progress. By the end of 2010, the total mileage of the national expressways had reached 74,000 kilometers. Among the highways that have been opened to traffic, asphalt concrete pavement accounts for the vast majority. In my country, highways are generally designed according to their service life (service life). For example, the design life of highway asphalt pavement in my country is 15 years. Structural maintenance is not a principle. Although the service life of the road is drawn up in the road design process, due to the relatively conservative estimation of the design traffic volume, large and heavy ve...
