Abstract

Provided is a driving device for a display, comprising a controller and multiple driving units, wherein the controller transmits and receives data signals according to the transmitting interface; the driving units are used for driving the displaying lines of a display; the driving units are sequentially and serially connected and coupled, with the driving units of the first grade being directly connected to the transmitting interface of the controller; and each driving units also detects the state information of every corresponding displaying line. When every driving unit receives the data signal and judges that the data signal is a pass-back instruction, the transmitting interface is used for carrying out pass-back movement for transmitting state information to the controller. The driving device for a display, provided in the invention, effectively reduces the wiring complexity between the controller and every driving unit, and cuts the circuit cost.
