Embodiment

[0020] An embodiment, a modulation method suitable for an atmospheric laser communication system is carried out through an experimental platform of an unlimited sinusoidal modulation atmospheric laser communication system. The experimental platform includes an analog laser 1 and a photodetector 2, see Figure 4 , the model of the analog laser 1 used at the transmitting end is LQA850-120E, the main function is to transmit the optical signal into the atmospheric channel, the receiving end includes a photodetector 2 and a bit error analyzer, and the model of the photodetector 2 is PDA10A-EC (200-1100nm), responsible for converting the optical signal through the atmospheric channel into an electrical signal, and the bit error analyzer is AV5232E bit error analyzer, which can test the bit error of the received signal.

Abstract

The invention discloses a modulation method suitable for an atmosphere laser communication system. The method comprises the following steps of: performing non-limiting class sinusoidal modulation on a coding signal subjected to digital to analog conversion to acquire a modulated electric signal; performing on-opto variable frequency on the modulated electric signal and transmitting out the modulated electric signal; performing down-opto variable frequency on a signal received by the receiving end and recovering the signal to the electric signal; and performing analog to digital conversion, channel estimation, modulation identification and electric demodulation on the electric signal to recover the electric signal to original source information. An encoding signal which is subjected to the source information is converted into the non-limiting class sinusoidal signal by means of non-limiting class sinusoidal modulation, so that the electric signal for modulating a laser is unipolar, and the problem that a subcarrier signal is subjected to direct current bias in the prior art so as to result in low power utilization ratio; and therefore, the power utilization ratio of the system is improved, the transmission distance is far, and the error rate performance of the system is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of communication, and in particular relates to a modulation method suitable for an atmospheric laser communication system. Background technique [0002] Modulation methods suitable for atmospheric laser communication systems mainly use intensity modulation and coherent modulation. Considering the system structure and cost, most existing atmospheric laser communication systems use intensity modulation. The intensity modulation mainly includes two types of pulse modulation and subcarrier intensity modulation. [0003] Common pulse modulation methods mostly use different positions of pulses in the data frame to represent different information, which is called pulse-like position modulation. Such as On off keying (OOK), pulse position modulation (PPM), multiple pulse position modulation (MPPM), differential pulse position modulation (DPPM), differential Pulse interval modulation (Differential pulse interval m...
