Abstract

The invention provides a multi-tier architecture-based desktop monitoring system which comprises a client end, a gateway, a service end and a management end, wherein the service end is arranged on a controlled user terminal and used for providing monitoring data; the gateway is used for synchronizing data between the client end and the service end; the service end is used for storing the monitoring data; and the management end is used for configuring a system and operating the monitoring data. According to the multi-tier architecture-based desktop monitoring system provided by the invention, a monitoring force is detained into session level operation, thus an operation picture of a desktop in a control console session can be recorded, and also an operation picture of the desktop in a session of a non-control console where a remote user logs in can be recorded. Local storage is used, thus the user operation can be recorded offline, once the user is connected, the system automatically uploads an operation video within a period of offline time of the user; therefore, the problem of operation monitoring of remote login and offline states of the user is solved.
