Abstract

The invention provides a traditional Chinese medicine composition for treating arthralgia caused by wind-damp-heat pathogens. The composition is prepared by the following active pharmaceutical ingredients of, by weight, 5-18 parts of processed semen strychni, 9-15 parts of gentiana macrophylla, 9-15 parts of radix stephaniae tetrandrae, 9-15 parts of processed olibanum, 9-15 parts of processed myrrh, 9-15 of lumbricus, 9-15 parts of wall gecko, 9-15 parts of gastrodia elata, 9-15 parts of glabrous greenbrier rhizome and 9-15 parts of cortex phellodendri. The composition has the functions of clearing heat and detoxicating, dispelling wind and eliminating dampness, promoting blood circulation to remove meridian obstruction, bringing down fever and reducing swelling, suppressing spasm and relieving pain, invigorating stomach to help digestion, and the like, and has significant curative effects for pyretic arthralgia, limbs and muscle pain which belong to pyretic arthralgia categories such as rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatic arthritis, arthrolithiasis, hyperostosis, lumbar bone hyperplasia, lumbar disc herniation, sciatica and the like and are mainly characterized by local inflamed hot pain; for joint pain symptoms of people having thermal type constitutions such as people with damp-heat constitutions and internal heat constitutions, patients with hypertension and diabetes, or the crowds suffering from rheumatoid arthritis diseases and easy to suffer from excessive internal heat when taking drugs of hot nature; or for joint, muscle, and tendon pain symptoms of the crowds who may suffer from stomach indigestion at the same time.
