Embodiment 1

[0018] Example 1: A method for determining the content of artemisinin in Chinese herbal medicines such as Artemisia annua and samples containing artemisinin components. The method is to dissolve 70.3 mg of standard artemisinin in 5.0 mL of ethanol. Add 0.5g NaHCO to a 50 mL Erlenmeyer flask 3 , 1.0 mL of glacial acetic acid, then 2.0 mL of water, 0.5 g of KI and 2.0 mL of concentrated hydrochloric acid were added to the ethanol solution of the above artemisinin sample, reacted in a water bath at 70°C for 15 min, then cooled to room temperature, and dissolved in 0.1 mol / L Na 2 S 2 o 3 Titrate the standard solution until light yellow, add starch solution as indicator, take Na 2 S 2 o 3 Titration to colorless is the titration end point, and the total consumption of Na 2 S 2 o 3 Standard solution 5.0 mL. The content of artemisinin in the sample was calculated by the formula, and the calculated value of artemisinin content was 70.5 mg.

Embodiment 2

[0019] Example 2: A method for determining the content of artemisinin in Chinese herbal medicines such as Artemisia annua and samples containing artemisinin components. The method is to dissolve 70.9 mg of standard artemisinin in 5.0 mL of ethanol. Add 0.5g NaHCO to a 50 mL Erlenmeyer flask 3 , 1.0 mL of glacial acetic acid, 2.0 mL of water, 0.5 g of KI and 2.0 mL of concentrated hydrochloric acid were added to the ethanol solution of the above artemisinin sample, reacted in a water bath at 70°C for 30 min, then cooled to room temperature, and dissolved in 0.1 mol / L Na 2 S 2 o 3 Titrate the standard solution until light yellow, add starch solution as indicator, take Na 2 S 2 o 3 Titration to colorless is the titration end point, and the total consumption of Na 2 S 2 o 3 The standard solution was 4.9 mL, and the content of artemisinin in the sample was calculated by the formula, and the calculated value of artemisinin content was 69.1 mg.

Embodiment 3

[0020] Example 3: A method for determining the content of artemisinin in Chinese medicinal materials such as Artemisia annua and samples containing artemisinin components, the method is to take artemisinin standard: 69.8 mg dissolved in 5.0 mL ethanol. Add 0.5g NaHCO to a 50 mL Erlenmeyer flask 3 , 1.0 mL of glacial acetic acid, 2.0 mL of water, 0.5 g of KI and 2.0 mL of concentrated hydrochloric acid were added to the ethanol solution of the above artemisinin sample, reacted in a water bath at 70°C for 10 min, then cooled to room temperature, and dissolved in 0.1 mol / L Na 2 S 2 o 3 Titrate the standard solution until light yellow, add starch solution as indicator, take Na 2 S 2 o 3 Titration to colorless is the titration end point, and the total consumption of Na 2 S 2 o 3 The standard solution was 4.8 mL, and the content of artemisinin in the sample was calculated by the formula, and the calculated value of artemisinin content was 67.7 mg.

Abstract

The invention relates to a simple method for measuring artemisinin content, and in particular relates to a method for measuring artemisinin content in traditional Chinese medicinal materials such as Artemisia annua and samples containing artemisinin components. The method comprises the following steps of: dissolving a measured sample in an organic solvent and preparing artemisinin which is extracted through the organic solvent into a sample solution to be measured; adding NaHCO3 glacial acetic acid, ethanol, distilled water, KI with the artemisinin components in the sample to be measured, and concentrated hydrochloric acid into a 50mL conical flask, adding a sample solution to be measured with a determined volume, heating and reacting the mixed solution in a water bath at the temperature of 5-100 DEG C for 0 to 24 hours, and cooling the mixed solution; and finally, taking starch as an indicator, titrating to be at a terminal point by using a Na2S2O3 standard solution, and calculating the artemisinin content in the sample through a formula. The method is unique, rapid in measurement and low in cost.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a simple method for determining the content of artemisinin, in particular to a method for determining the content of artemisinin in traditional Chinese medicinal materials such as Artemisia annua and samples containing artemisinin components. Background technique [0002] Artemisinin is an active monomer component isolated from Artemisia annua by Chinese scientists in the 1970s. It has high efficiency, low toxicity, quick effect, and is widely used in the treatment of cerebral malaria, falciparum malaria, vivax malaria and other diseases. Safety and other advantages, it is the first choice drug for malaria prevention and treatment and the antimalarial drug recommended by WHO. Since artemisinin drugs are specific antimalarial drugs, they have the advantage of low cost compared with chloroquine antimalarial drugs, and have considerable market prospects. Therefore, the research on the content determination method of artemisinin h...
