Abstract

A backlight module comprises a light guide plate and a plurality of light emitting units, wherein the light guide plate comprises a body and a plurality of protruding bodies which are integrally connected with the body; the body is provided with a light emergent surface, a bottom surface opposite to the light emergent surface and a circumferential surface connected with the circumferential edge of the light emergent surface and the circumferential edge of the bottom surface; the protruding bodies protrude outwards from the circumferential surface of the body in a mutually interval way; each protruding body is provided with a light incident surface and a reflecting surface; and the light incident surface and the reflecting surface respectively extend from the circumferential surface and are connected at the tail end. The light emitting units are respectively and correspondingly arranged at the light incident surfaces of the protruding bodies; and light emitted by each light emitting unit radiates into the corresponding light incident surface of each protruding body, is reflected by the corresponding reflecting surface to enter the body and is emitted by the light emergent surface of the body.
