Abstract

The present invention provides a refrigerator, and aims at eliminating refrigerant shortage caused by residual refrigerant in a tubing occurring at the moment of changing a refrigerant tubing, so as to reduce consumed electric power, and aims at reducing refrigerant flowing sound generated when the refrigerant flows through a changeover valve. The refrigerator has a refrigerant loop in which a compressor, a heat dissipation mechanism, a decompressing mechanism, and a cooler are connected in order, wherein the heat dissipation mechanism comprises a first heat dissipation mechanism used for performing heat dissipation towards an outer part of the refrigerator, a second heat dissipation mechanism used for heating a separating part of a storage room. The refrigerator comprises: a first refrigerant flow path used for enabling the refrigerant compressed by the compressor to flow through the first heat dissipation mechanism and the second heat dissipation mechanism ; a second refrigerant flow path used for bypassing the first refrigerant flow path after the refrigerant circulates in the first heat dissipation mechanism; and a flow path switching mechanism used for switching the first refrigerant flow path and the second refrigerant flow path, wherein inside capacity of the first refrigerant flow path and the second refrigerant flow path is less than inside capacity of the first heat dissipation mechanism.
