Abstract

The invention relates to a method for measuring inner arc ultrasonic sound energy loss of a small diameter tube. The method comprises the following steps: 1) choosing one small diameter tube ultrasonic emitting probe and one small diameter tube ultrasonic receiving probe which have the same parameters, and choosing one group of inner arc ultrasonic sound energy loss measurement test blocks; 2) measuring the highest amplitude value of ultrasonic wave in each measurement test block after being reflected through the bottom surface; 3) drawing a amplitude-thickness reference curve; 4) measuring the highest amplitude value e of the ultrasonic wave after being reflected through the bottom surface of the measured workpiece-small diameter tube; and 5) finding out the amplitude value f, corresponding to the thickness value of the measured workpiece-small diameter tube, from the amplitude-thickness reference curve, and calculating the sound energy loss delta C of the ultrasonic wave on the inner wall of the small diameter tube through the formula of delta C=2*(f-e). The method has the activities that as the sound energy loss of the ultrasonic wave on the inner wall of the small diameter tube is measured, and the measured value is combined with the sound energy loss of the ultrasonic wave on the inner wall of the small diameter tube, the defects of circular butt welding seams of the small diameter tube are accurately reflected, and the leakage of the originally wasted defects is avoided.
