Abstract

The invention relates to the field of animal breeding, in particular to a lean-meat-type pig selection method in a hybridization technique. The specific implementation steps comprise that first, local palm hair glutinous cereal pigs are selected as female parents which are crossed with boars which are landrace of an introduced variety and used as male parents, generated offspring boars are selected and are crossed with the offspring pigs generated by crossing of local glutinous cereal pigs used as male parents and large white sows of an introduced variety as female parents, excellent sows are selected as final female parents to be crossed with Duroc, and generated offspring pigs are high-quality lean-meat-type pork pigs. The novel-variety lean-meat-type pork pigs effectively overcome the shortcomings that outer-ternary piglets are high in diarrhea rate, high in meat moisture, low in unsaturated fattyacid, bad in meat flavor and the like.
