Abstract

The invention discloses application of tangeretin serving as sensitizer used for preparing chemotherapeutics used for curing a solid tumor. An in vitro cell experiment shows that when concentration of 5-fluorouracil is 25ug\ml and 50ug\ml, tangeretin drug combination can strengthen antineoplastic activity of the 5-fluorouracil, and synergistic effects are shown to restrain growth of a human colon cancer cell HCT-116. When the concentration of the 5-fluorouracil is 25ug\ml, effects of 5-fluorouracil drug combination are the best. An animal experiment shows that drug combination of the tangeretin and the 5-fluorouracil has obvious inbibitional effects on growth of a mice transplant tumor S180 sarcoma, and a mice death rate caused by larger toxicity of chemotherapeutics 5-fluorouracil is reduced largely. The drug combination of the tangeretin and the 5-fluorouracil reduces a dosage of the 5-fluorouracil, so a side effect of mice reduced weight caused by the chemotherapeutics 5-fluorouracil can be relieved, and toxicity of the 5-fluorouracil to a mice is reduced.
