An RGB (Red Green Blue) to HSV (Hue, Saturation, Value) transformation unit receives a camera signal and transforms the camera signal from the RGB color gamut to the HSV color gamut so as to generate an HSV color gamut camera signal; a skin color optimization unit is connected with the RGB to HSV transformation unit and used for executing skin color optimization of the HSV color gamut camera signal so as to generate a hue/saturation gain; a color enhancement operation unit is connected with the skin color optimization unit and used for executing color enhancement operation of the HSV color gamut camera signal according to the hue/saturation gain and a hue displacement signal so as to generate a color enhancement camera signal; and an HSV to RGB transformation unit is used for transforming the color enhancement camera signal from the HSV color gamut to the RGB color gamut.
