The DFMEA file acquiring method includes: confirming an object product; acquiring a corresponding failure item combination of every subpart, in a preset DFMEA library, of the object product; and generating a DFMEA file of the object product by combining every failure analysis item in every failure item combination, wherein the preset DFMEA library includes all corresponding failure item combinations of all the known subparts, every failure item combination at least includes one failure analysis item, and the DFMEA file includes at least one of the failure analysis items of the object product. Via an embodiment of the DFMEA file acquiring method and the DFMEA file acquiring device, the acquired DFMEA file covers all the failure analysis items of all the subparts of the object product, so that the DFMEA file is comprehensive and high in continuity. Meanwhile, the object product only requires to be confirmed manually, and a new DFMEA file only requires to be edited via deletion, so that no other manual operation is required, and human cost is obviously reduced.
