Benefits of technology

In this new technology, there have several technical benefits compared to previous systems such as those described earlier. Firstly, they provide precise landings without any errors caused by humans (the main problem being addressed). Secondly, these systems work well even if some obstacles like water or snow enter through gaps between them during flight time. Thirdly, their high reliance makes them suitable for long runs at airports where pilots often don’t know what happens behind the plane. Finally, simpler structures make them more affordable than older designs while still providing reliable performance over longer distances.

Problems solved by technology

There currently exist two types of flight paths for piloted drones: one uses an onboard camera (OBC) along with radar technology or radio waves to help them navigate towards their destination while avoiding obstacles like trees at nightfall during winter months. Another type called OCAR has cameras mounted outside its own structure but connected by wires/cables to other equipment inside it's main body. These designs lacked sufficient consideration from visual effects such as lightning conditions or rainwater impact.

Embodiment

[0022] An aircraft video landing assistance system, taking the application on an aircraft carrier as an example, the whole system is as follows figure 1 and figure 2 As shown, it includes a landing signal light 23 , a wireless communication device, a first camera 21 , a second camera 22 , a first display 24 and a second display 25 corresponding to the first and second cameras, and a landing strip 4 . The first camera 21 is located at the ideal landing point of the landing runway, and the second camera 22 is located at the terminal point of the landing runway. Offer a camera hole, high-strength glass 3 is installed on this camera hole, the camera lens direction of camera is aimed at the ideal landing point of aircraft. The landing signal light 23 is located at the center position of the landing gear of the aircraft, which plays the role of marking the accurate position of the aircraft. The landing signal light is a flashable infrared lamp, and two displays are arranged in th...

Abstract

The invention relates to a video-assisted system for airplane landing, which comprises a landing signal light, a wireless communication device, a plurality of cameras, and displays with same quantity with the cameras, wherein the cameras are arranged on a landing runway; the displays are arranged in a cockpit of an airplane; the landing signal light is arranged an a central position of an airplane landing gear; the cameras and the displays conduct wireless communication through the wireless communication device; and the cameras send shot video information to the displays through the wireless communication device for displaying. Compared with the prior art, the system can help a pilot to find the landing direction and the landing pot accurately, improve the landing accuracy and the stability of airplane, and guarantee the safety of the pilot, the airplane and an aircraft carrier.
