The power failure analysis system provided by the invention comprises a plurality of electric energy analyzers, a plurality of GPS (global positioning system) timing devices and the server, wherein the electric energy analyzers are mounted in transformer substations and used for detecting electric power data of a line and arrival time of current travelling wave heads, and uploads the time to the server through the internet; and the server is connected with the electric energy analyzers through the internet, receives the electric power data of the power line and the arrival time of the current travelling wave heads, and determines the fault position of the line through analysis of the time, and the electric power data of the power line and the arrival time of the current travelling wave heads are uploaded by the electric energy analyzers.
