Abstract

The invention discloses an orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) metropolitan area access fusion network compatible with optical virtual private network (OVPN) communication, and a communication method of the OFDMA metropolitan area access fusion network. The OVPN communication comprises external OVPN communication and internal OVPN communication; in a central office, an OVPN light source can be controlled and allocated by an M*M optical switch; in a far-end node, OVPN signals can be generated and received respectively by an OVPN OFDM transmitter and an OVPN OFDM receiver; a center node can dynamically receive the external OVPN signals coming from a fiber-optic ring according to the network OVPN communication condition, and the needed OVPN signals are broadcasted to all subordinate far-end nodes; according to the types of the OVPN signals uploaded by the far-end nodes, the OVPN signals are judged to be broadcasted in a fiber-optic tree or sent into other center nodes through the fiber-optic ring. According to the proposed network bandwidth resource allocation and OVPN communication establishment dismounting scheme, after the network structure of the invention is adopted, the communication of a plurality of OVPNs can be realized simultaneously in the OFDMA metropolitan area access fusion network, so that the OVPN demand of a user can be met.
