Abstract

The invention provides a method for extracting and de-ironing aluminum chloride slurry, which comprises the following steps: (1) regulating the pH value of ferrous aluminum chloride slurry with the solid content of 30-60 wt% to 1-3 by using a hydrochloric acid solution; (2) preparing an extraction organic phase comprising an extractant and sulfonated kerosene, wherein the extractant accounts for 30-60 vol% of the extraction organic phase; (3) mixing the slurry and the extraction organic phase to carry out extraction, and separating an organic phase and a water phase after achieving the extraction balance, wherein the water phase is the extracted aluminum chloride slurry; (4) carrying out solid-liquid separation on the extracted aluminum chloride slurry to obtain a crystal aluminum chloride product and a separated aluminum chloride solution; and (5) mixing the organic phase with a hydrochloric acid solution to carry out back extraction, thereby recovering the organic phase. The method provided by the invention can lower the consumption of the organic phase in extraction, and lowers the volume of the required extraction plant.
