Abstract

The invention discloses a blue colorant and a coloring method for an aluminum material. The blue colorant comprises the components of liquid A and B, wherein the liquid A comprises 30 to 40 parts of ammonium molybdate and 800 to 1000 parts of water by weight, the liquid B comprises the following components in parts by weight: 30 to 40 parts of sulfuric acid, 8 to 15 parts of phosphoric acid, 10 to 15 parts of stannous sulfate, 10 to 15 parts of cresol sulfonic acid, 5 to 10 parts of sulfanilic acid, 2 to 6 parts of citric acid and 800 to 1000 parts of water. The coloring method comprises the steps of degreasing, cleaning, polishing, re-degreasing, re-cleaning and coloring.
