Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a bandwidth adjusting method in a network virtualization system. The network virtualization system comprises a center module and m far-end modules, and the m far-end modules are connected with a physical interface of the center module through n PWs. The bandwidth adjusting method comprises the steps that real-time bandwidths of the n PWs are acquired from the m far-end modules; when the sum of the acquired real-time bandwidths of the n PWs is larger than the bandwidth of the physical interface, the configuration bandwidths of P PWs are adjusted; the adjusted configuration bandwidth values of the P PWs are sent to the far-end modules which are connected with the P PWs respectively. The embodiment of the invention further provides a bandwidth adjusting device. According to the technical scheme, when the sum of the real-time bandwidths of the n PWs is larger than the bandwidth of the physical interface of the center module, the configuration bandwidth of the far-end module PW is adjusted, and the problems of network congestion and packet loss of the center module are solved.
