Abstract

The invention discloses a fan and an impeller thereof. The fan comprises the impeller and a motor for driving the impeller; the impeller comprises a hub and a plurality of fan blades; the hub comprises a top part positioned at one axial end of the hub and a side wall extending along the axial direction of the hub from the periphery of the top part; the fan blades radially extend outwards from the periphery of the side wall; the inner surface of the top part is provided with a plurality of first ribs; gaps are reserved between the first ribs and the side wall. In the impeller of the fan, the gaps are reserved between the first ribs of the top parts and the side wall, so that the first ribs are not connected with the side wall, and resonance formed between the motor and the impeller is weakened, and thus, noise generated in the operating process of the fan is reduced.
