The method comprises steps: A, manually installing electric energy meter one-dimensional label codes on electric energy meters; B, manually installing RFID labels consistent with the electric energy meter one-dimensional label codes on the electric energy meters; C, placing the electric energy meters on an automatic detecting assembly line in same direction; D, making the electric energy meters to be detected reach a detecting position; E, using an industrial control computer to compare scanned results in order to determine whether the electric energy meter nameplate bar codes are consistent with the built-in RFID bar codes; and F, continuously conveying qualified products having consistent compared results and removing unqualified products not having consistent compared results with a removing device. By means of the consistency verification of the electric energy meter nameplate bar code and the RFID bar code, the method may ensure the accuracy of power material information and power metering equipment installation information in an electric energy meter dispensing and field installing process.
