A blood flow visualizing diagnostic device, whereby: flow rate data of blood flowing in a blood vessel in vivo is acquired; on the basis of the flow rate data thus acquired, energy losses of the blood flow are calculated, according to an arithmetic expression, said arithmetic expression not explicitly including the blood pressure in the blood vessel, at multiple representative points in an area of interest within the blood vessel; and then an image showing the extents of energy loss at the multiple representative points thus calculated is formed.
