The elastic interlayer type vibration reduction gear comprises a gear base body, involute outline bodies and an elastic interlayer, wherein the gear base body comprises a round main body and multiple gear tooth base portions evenly distributed in the peripheral direction of the round main body, the involute outline bodies are respectively arranged on two sides of each gear tooth base portion, and the elastic interlayer is arranged between the gear tooth base portions and the involute outline bodies in a sealing mode to enable each gear tooth base portion, the involute outline bodies on two sides and the elastic interlayer to form the gear. The vibration reduction gear can reduce and even eliminate vibration through the elastic interlayer and further decrease the gear transmission errors.
