The method comprises the following steps of determining that magnitude of the survival pressure of the individual rare and endangered tree species from each competed wood plant by calculating the survival pressure index PIij of the single rare and endangered tree species; providing a basis for removing fixed competed wood plants; quantitatively reflecting types of the competed wood species which apply high survival pressure to the individual rare and endangered tree species by calculating the survival pressure index PIit of the tree species; providing a basis for emphasized control on the competed tree species; quantitatively reflecting the magnitude of the survival pressure of each individual rare and endangered tree specie by calculating the survival pressure index PIi; and providing the basis for preferential rescuing according to demands of the individual rare and endangered tree species.
