[0035] In 2013, we conducted a deep-plow planting experiment of tobacco in Xuancheng City, Anhui Province. Through deep-plowing and mixing the soil within a depth of 60cm, we planted flue-cured tobacco on flat ridges. The test results showed that deep tillage planting can increase the yield of tobacco without significant effect on quality. It can be seen from Table 1 that the yield of tobacco leaves under 60cm deep plowing increased by 26% compared with the conventional treatment.
