This invention provides the application of a
reagent for detecting GYSY-1
peptide in the preparation of products for assessing the prognosis and
immunotherapy sensitivity of
colorectal cancer, relating to the field of clinical tumor testing technology. GYSY-1
peptide is highly expressed in
colorectal cancer tissues, and its expression level is positively correlated with poor overall prognosis in
colorectal cancer patients, thus serving as a
predictive factor for colorectal
cancer prognosis. Patients with high levels of GYSY-1
peptide in colorectal
cancer tissues have higher mortality rates; using it as a biomarker helps improve the positive concordance rate of colorectal
cancer prognosis assessment, determining the
malignancy and presence of
metastasis. Furthermore, high expression of this peptide in colorectal cancer tissues is associated with lower CD8-positive
cell infiltration, PD-L1 expression levels, and PD-1 / PD-L1
immune checkpoint therapy sensitivity in colorectal cancer samples; using it as a biomarker can be used to assess
immunotherapy sensitivity and predict the
efficacy of PD-1 / PD-L1 inhibitors.
