Embodiment Construction

[0035] exist figure 1 In , a tool 1 according to the invention is shown in connection with the machining of a workpiece 2 . The tool is realized in the form of a turning tool, the main part of which is the blade plate 3 which serves as a holder or base body for an exchangeable cutting insert 4 . The workpiece 2 is cylindrical and rotatable in the direction of rotation R. As shown in FIG. By feeding the tool 1 longitudinally in the feed direction F during simultaneous rotation of the workpiece, a circumferential groove 5 can be provided in the envelope surface of the workpiece, the width of which is determined by the width of the main cutting edge comprised in the cutting insert 4 , while the depth of the groove 5 is determined by how far the blade and its cutting inserts are fed into the workpiece.

[0036] figure 1 The processing method illustrated in is a grooving operation.

[0037] exist figure 1 , also shows a key 6 with an eccentric body 7 by means of which a clamp...

Abstract

The present invention relates to a cutting removal machining tool and its blade holding a blade and a replaceable blade, a cutting tool for chip removal processing of a metal blank. The cutter includes a blade plate and a replaceable cutting insert mounted in a seat defined between a bottom support and resiliently resilient clamping fingers. The cutting insert comprises an upper side in which a rake face is included and an application face arranged behind the rake face and against which the clamping fingers are pressed. A flushing channel is included in the clamping finger for spraying cooling medium to the rake face, the front nose of the clamping finger facing is formed between the rake face and the application face between and shoulders to protect the nose from cuttings. According to the invention, the shoulder is formed by two projections separated from each other by a central recess via which cooling medium can pass from the flushing channel towards the rake face.

Description

technical field [0001] In a first aspect, the invention relates to a tool intended for cutting removal machining in grooving or parting, a tool of the type comprising a blade and replaceable cutting inserts, the replaceable cutting blade The insert is mounted in a seat located at the end of the blade and delimited between the bottom support and the resiliently resilient clamping fingers, said cutting insert comprising a front side, a rear side , two side surfaces, a bottom side and an upper side, the upper side includes a rake surface and an application surface, the rake surface is arranged closest to the front side, the application surface is arranged at the front behind the cutter face, and against which the clamping finger is pressed against said application face, the clamping finger comprises a flushing channel which opens towards the cutting insert in order to spray cooling medium to the rake face and the main cutting edge Above, the main cutting edge is formed between t...
