Abstract

The invention provides a method for connecting and controlling of an intelligent television with mobile equipment in order to control the intelligent television conveniently. The method comprises the steps that first connecting is established between mobile equipment and a set top box of the intelligent television; the connecting information of a wireless access point is sent to the set top box through the first connecting via the mobile equipment; through the connecting information, second connecting is automatically established between the set top box and the wireless access point; through the connecting information, third connecting is established between the mobile equipment and the wireless access point; and the mobile equipment is connected to the set top box through the wireless access point, and accordingly the intelligent television is controlled. Correspondingly, the invention provides an intelligent television control system. According to the method and system, the cost of a special remote controller can be saved, and the intelligent television can be controlled conveniently and flexibly.
