Abstract

Disclosed are a blind handover or blind redirection method, system and related device. The method comprises: when a terminal judges that blind handover or blind redirection is required according to a preset trigger condition, a current serving base station of the terminal acquiring location information acquired by the terminal by using an auxiliary GPS function; and according to the location information and pre-stored location information about various adjacent base stations, the serving base station calculating the distance between the terminal and various adjacent base stations, determining a target base station for blind handover or blind redirection and performing blind handover or blind redirection. By means of the present invention, the problems that the failure of blind handover or blind redirection has an influence on the user experience, and re-access consumes network resources in the prior art are effectively avoided.
