The invention discloses a public transportation vehicle station-skipping scheduling method and system. With the public transportation vehicle station-skipping scheduling method adopted, station-skipping driving can be possibly realized in the operating process of public transportation vehicles since no passengers get off the vehicles or no passengers get on the vehicles in stations, or in order to ensure the punctuality of public transportation. According to the public transportation vehicle station-skipping scheduling method, based on passenger get-off information obtained in the vehicles and passenger get-on need information in the stations, and the number of waiting passengers and the number of passengers who get off the vehicles in each period, in each station and on each line as well as difference values of actual time and scheduled time of the operating of the vehicles between any two adjacent stations in each period are predicted according to a large amount of historical route operating data, and whether station-skipping scheduling is carried out or not can be judged according to defined passenger punctuality deviation values. With the public transportation vehicle station-skipping scheduling method and system of the invention adopted, the service level of urban public transportation and the punctuality rate of the public transportation can be improved, and the competitiveness of the public transportation can be improved.
