The method comprises the steps of determining the current road segment from road segments included in a navigation route, determining navigation steering action information at an intersection of the current road segment, determining a lane steering action permission information of which is matched with the navigation steering action information from lanes included by the current road segment, and offering the identification information of the determined lane to the user. According to the method, the navigation device can offer the information of the lane to be arrived for the user, the user can immediately change to a right lane according to the information for avoiding conditions of taking a detour and changing the lane illegally, and the risk of the traffic accidents is effectively reduced.
