Embodiment 1

[0100] obtain figure 1 The pneumatic tire of Example 1 has the basic structure shown and has the specifications shown in Table 1 below. The tire size is set to 195 / 65R15. The material of the cords included in the belt layer in Example 1 was steel. In the first embodiment, no belt layer is provided.

[0101] In the tire of the present embodiment 1, a pair of reinforcing layers is provided. Each reinforcing layer is arranged in the shoulder area. In the column "Type" in the table, use "part" to indicate this. Add short fibers made of nylon fibers to the reinforcement layer. The compounding quantity of short fiber was 10 mass parts with respect to 100 mass parts of base rubbers. The average length L of short fibers was set to 10 μm. The thickness tf of the reinforcement layer was set to 1.0 mm. The thickness t from the bottom of the lug groove to the reinforcing layer was set to 1.0 mm. Therefore, the thickness tb from the bottom of the lug groove to the belt layer was 2...

Embodiment 2-5 and comparative example 4

[0108] Except that the thickness t and the thickness tb were set as in Table 2 below, the rest were the same as in Example 1, thereby obtaining tires of Examples 2-5 and Comparative Example 4.

Embodiment 6-9

[0110] The thickness tf and the thickness tb were set as shown in Table 3 below, and the rest were the same as in Example 1, thereby obtaining tires of Examples 6-9.

Abstract

The invention provides a pneumatic tire (2) capable of preventing generation of groove cracks on tire surfaces and improving high-speed durability. The tire (2) is provided with a tire surface (4), a belted layer (16), and a reinforced layer (22). Horizontal grooves (46) extended substantially along an axial direction are disposed in the tire surface body(24) and the tire shoulder area (s) of the tire surface(4) in an etched manner. The reinforced layer (22) is constituted by rubber compositions. The rubber compositions comprise base rubber and short fibers (52). The lengths of the short fibers (52) is in a range from 1 (mu)m to 100 (mu)m. The proportion of the short fibers (52) can be in a range from 1 to 100 parts by mass with respect to the base rubber of 100 parts by mass. The reinforced layer (22) is disposed on the radial inner sides of the horizontal grooves. In the reinforced layer (22), the short fibers (52) can be oriented in the peripheral direction. The distance from the bottom parts of the horizontal grooves (46) to the thickness (t) of the reinforced layer (22) is lower than 2.0mm.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to pneumatic tires. Background technique [0002] Usually, grooves are engraved on the tread surface of the tire. A tread pattern is formed by these grooves. The tread pattern affects the running performance of the tire. As examples of the grooves constituting the tread pattern, there are main grooves extending in the circumferential direction and lug grooves extending in the axial direction. [0003] From the viewpoint of reinforcing the carcass, the tire is equipped with a belt. The belt layer is laminated with the carcass on the inner side in the radial direction of the tread. The belt layer includes a plurality of cords arranged side by side. Each cord is inclined with respect to the equatorial plane. Usually, the material of the cord is steel. [0004] When the tire runs at high speed, the axially outer portion of the belt layer moves radially outward due to centrifugal force. This belt movement is also called...
