Abstract

The invention relates to a composite natural product preparation for sucking calves in a high-temperature damp-heat environment and a milk powder substitute containing the composite natural product preparation. The active components of the composite natural product preparation are prepared from the following natural plants: fructus evodiae, fig, fruit of cubeb litsea tree, costustoot, scutellaria baicalensis, pericarpium citri reticulatae, fructus forsythia, honeysuckle, atractylodes, semen raphani, fingered citron, hawthorn, poria cocos, medicated leaven, rhizoma pinellinae praeparata, Chinese yam and semen coicis. A test shows that the milk powder substitute provided by the invention is fed to the calves in the high-temperature damp-heat environment; the condition that the growth performance of the calves is not lower than or exceeds that of the calves fed with the milk of cows can be ensured; meanwhile, the health condition is relatively good; and early breast nursing of the calves in the southern China becomes possible.
