Embodiment Construction

[0020] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments, and the present invention includes but not limited to the following embodiments.

[0021] Main content of the present invention has:

[0022] A transmitting array with a large spacing and a sparse arrangement and a receiving array with a small spacing and a dense arrangement are designed. The transmitting array needs to meet: the spacing between the transmitting array elements is equal to the product of the receiving array element spacing and the number of receiving array elements, and a single transmitting main lobe and multiple transmitting grating lobes are simultaneously generated by using spatial undersampling; the receiving array needs to meet: the traditional dense array , and when the main lobe of the receiving beam pattern points to a certain transmitting grating lobe (or main lobe), the zero point or low side lobe of the receiving beam pattern i...

Abstract

The invention provides an imaging method through transmitting grating lobes. The method includes designing transmitting arrays, with large spacing, which are arranged in a sparse manner and receiving arrays, with small spacing, which are arranged in a sparse manner; when a receiving main lobe orientates to one transmitting grating lobe or main lobe, allowing the zero point of a receiving beam pattern or low side lobe to orientate to other transmitting grating lobes, performing signal emission, receiving beam forming and imaging according to designed arrays, and acquiring the imaging result of a target region. According to the method, more radiating angles can be acquired through the transmitting grating lobes, and higher angle solution can be acquired as compared with that of a traditional method.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an array imaging method. Background technique [0002] In array imaging technologies such as sonar, radar, and medicine, half-wavelength arrays are generally used (Sutton J L, Underwater acoustic imaging, Proceedings of the IEEE, 1979; 67(4):554-566. Bao Z, Xing M D and Wang T, Radar imaging technique, China: Publish House of Electronics Industry, 2005. Makovski A, Ultrasonic imaging using arrays, Proceedings of the IEEE, 1979; 67(4):484-495.). In order to improve the azimuth resolution, the array element spacing can be set slightly larger than half the wavelength. However, when the distance between array elements is too large, the beam pattern will produce grating lobes (Van Trees H L. Optimum array processing: part 4 of detection, estimation, and modulation theory. Hoboken: John Wiley & Sons Inc., 2002.). The presence of grating lobes leads to azimuthal ambiguity. Therefore, traditional imaging methods avoid the occurrence...
