Abstract

The invention relates to a method for preliminary evaluation of a dead fish accident in heavy metal wastewater. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: pretreatment, namely arranging an experimental group and a control group, removing heavy metals in the wastewater by use of ion exchange resin, placing a biological testing container in the experimental group, and directly placing wastewater by another biological testing container without treatment in the control group; biological testing, namely feeding a plurality of testing living bodies in two biological testing containers, and observing the death rate of the testing living bodies in the two biological testing containers after the testing living bodies are fed for an appropriate time period; and evaluation, namely analyzing the death status of the testing living bodies in the experimental group and the control group and judging the wastewater pollution level. The invention also provides a device for the preliminary evaluation of the dead fish accident in the heavy metal wastewater. Based on the method, the device comprises a pretreatment system and a biological testing system. According to the method and the device, whether the dead fish accident is caused by heavy metal pollution can be simply and clearly judged and the additional evaluation cost caused by blind screening can be effectively avoided.
