The method comprises the steps in which, a first base station transmits a base station control request message to a second base station, and the base station control request message is used for indicating a controlled base station of the first base station or a control base station of the first base station; and a base control reply message or a base station request failure message from the second base station is received. The base station control message can be an X2 setup request message, base station configuration update message or multipoint collaboration request message. The invention solves the problems of difficulty in determining control and controlled nodes in a multi-cell collaborative centralized mode and difficulty in determining a collaborative node in a multi-cell collaborative distributed mode.
