The test method comprises the steps of: displaying a plurality of touch areas on a touch screen, and previously dividing the plurality of set display areas on a display screen used in conjunction with the touch screen, wherein each set display area corresponds to a touch point on the touch screen; when the test starts, pressing a part of or all of the corresponding touch points of the set display areas on the touch screen; when the corresponding touch point area is pressed correctly, reading the number of the pressed touch point areas as a set number, and then lasting for a first set time; when the first set time is reached, detecting the number of the pressed touch areas on the touch screen as the actual number of the touch points, which is compared with the set number; and according to a comparison result, determining whether the touch screen has a fault.
