Abstract

The invention discloses compound essential oil for treating endometritis of domestic animals. The compound essential oil is prepared by adopting the following plant essential oil in parts by volume: 10 to 20 parts of cinnamomum comphora oil, 1 to 5 parts of thyme oil, 5 to 10 parts of angelica sinensis oil, 0.5 to 1 part of red flower oil and 100 to 500 parts of sunflower seed oil. The invention also provides a preparation method of the compound essential oil. The compound essential oil and the preparation method thereof have the beneficial effects that the essential oil is obtained from flowers, leaves, stems, roots or fruits of plants in an extracting manner by virtue of a vapor distilling method, a supercritical extraction method, a squeezing method, a cold immersing method or a solvent extraction method, is natural and does not cause drug fastness, a skin allergenicity experiment and a vaginal mucosa irritation experiment show that the compound essential oil is safe, non-toxic and free from side effect, and a clinical test shows that the healing rate of the compound essential oil to the endometritis reaches 80 percent, and the curative effect is remarkable.
