The method of the embodiment of the invention comprises the following steps: a server receives a hotspot request from a client side, and determines at least one hotspot which needs to be displayed; the server determines first range information and parameter information corresponding to at least one hotspot which needs to be displayed; and the server returns the determined first range information and parameter information to the client side to cause the client side to determine the hotspot which needs to be displayed at present according to the first range information, and carries out hotspot display operations according to the parameter information corresponding to the hotspot which needs to be displayed at present.
