Problems solved by technology

[0005] In order to solve the main problem at present: the improved clone tea tree, because the roots are fibrous roots, has poor stress resistance, especially in Jingdong County, where the spring drought is severe, the transplanting survival is low, the gardening is late, and the production is slow. It is urgent to solve the tea farmers' reluctance. Planting improved clones of tea trees affects the tea trees, and needs to be replanted and replanted to popularize the improved varieties of tea trees. The present invention provides a method for grafting tea trees, which includes the following steps:

[0018] 1. Select the variety: the local tea tree variety - Pujing No. 1 is the main variety.

[0019] 2. Selection of scions: Select mature branches above the biennial age, the branches have no pests and diseases, have strong germination ability (mainly utilize adventitious buds or dormant buds), and the thickness of the branches is not less than 0.5cm.

[0020] 3, the selection of stock: group species (the tea tree that tea seedlings are transplanted) is made stock.

[0021] 4. Treatment of the scion: the length of the scion is 10-15cm. Use paraffin: beeswax=10:0.5-1 to heat the branches to seal the wax. The wax-sealed branches can only be used for one week.

[0022] The method of sealing wax: use induction cooker to heat, and the temperature is controlled at 60-70°C.

[0041] Result: Grafting 10-20cm from the ground, the main reason is that the tea tree wound is too large, and a large amount of wound (overflow) floods the scion mouth, resulting in wound infection and death. The survival rate of new shoots grafted above 20cm from the ground and after pla...

Abstract

The invention provides a grafting method for tea trees. The grafting method comprises following steps: selecting biennial (or above it) tea tree branches free from pest and disease damage, selecting adventitious buds or dormant buds having a great germination capacity and selecting groups transplanted for seedling of tea seeds to grow tea trees as stock; sawing within the height range above the ground for 20 to 50 cm, keeping saw kerfs flat and smooth, leaving 2 to 3 branches behind for each tea tree; adopting a cut-grafting or cleft-grafting method for inclined cut-grafting of stock from the bottom to the upwards for one cut, and for peeling from the top to the bottom wherein the cut is more than 3.5 cm long; and connecting scions to stock cuts so that scion cuts are opposite to forming layers of stock and utilizing a grating film to bind up closely from the bottom to the top. The grafting method for tea trees has following beneficial effects: the grafting method for tea trees is especially suitable for promotion in a place for growth of seedlings so that tea-picking efficiency is increased and production cost is reduced; the grafting method for tea trees is simple and low in investment, quick in effect and high in survival rate; water and soil loss is prevented; a tea green is afforested; a green coverage area is broadened; and sustainable development is achieved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of plant local preservation, and more specifically, the invention relates to a method for grafting tea trees. Background technique [0002] Jingdong County, Pu'er City is an old area of tea production, with a long history of tea cultivation. According to Tang Fanchuo's "Man Shu", there are more than 1,300 years of tea planting history. The tea industry is a traditional industry in Jingdong County. Historically, tea seedlings were used for transplanting tea seedlings in Jingdong County. The current situation of tea production is that there are mixed varieties, low yield per unit area, poor quality and low economic benefits. It is not too late for Jingdong to promote improved clonal tea varieties. As early as 1987, the Jingdong Tea Test Station introduced, tested, demonstrated and promoted improved clonal tea varieties from Simao. A female parent garden of 210 mu has been established, but the speed of prom...
