Abstract

The A-grade fireproof toughening thermosetting resole is characterized by being prepared from phenol, formaldehyde, sodium hydroxide, barium hydroxide, a composite cross-linking agent, nanometer composite flame retardant and ammonium hydroxide. The preparation method includes the steps that first, under the action of an alkaline catalyst, phenol and formaldehyde are heated for condensation polymerization to obtain primary resole; then the composite cross-linking agent and the nanometer composite flame retardant are added, through a cross-linking reaction and flame retarding treatment, the flame retardancy and the cross-linking degree of the resole are improved, and finally the product is obtained through neutralization and dehydration. The combustion oxygen index of the obtained product reaches 72% or above, the pulverization rate of a foamed insulation board is below 16%, the vertical combustion performance of plates of 3 mm-10 mm can reach the V0 level of Europe UL-94 standard, and the comprehensive fireproof performance can reach the A2 level of national standard GB8624-2012 <Building Material and Product Combustion Performance>.
