A method for performing a power-saving mode in an electronic device, according to various embodiments of the present invention, comprises: an operation for driving at least one processor; an operation for sensing a switching command to a power-saving mode; and an operation for restricting an operation of at least one processor so as to block set functions excluding a power-saving call function according to at least one power-saving method of set power-saving methods when sensing the switching command to the power-saving mode.
