Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a server for realizing network live broadcasting. The method comprises the following steps of: providing a stream push content distribution network (CDN) address and a key to a corresponding anchor user at an anchor page, thereby enabling the anchor user to upload a multimedia data stream to the CDN according to the steam push CDN address and the key, wherein different anchor pages are corresponding to different anchor users; showing related information of the multimedia data stream uploaded by each anchor user on a main page; when an audience user selects one multimedia data stream shown on the front-end main page, skipping to the anchor page corresponding to the multimedia data stream, and providing a stream drawing CDN address and a key of the multimedia data stream to the audience user on the anchor page, thereby enabling the audience user to acquire the multimedia data stream in real time from the CDN according to the stream drawing CDN address and the key. The technical scheme establishes a superior multimedia data stream transmission and presentation mode to realize network live broadcasting.
