Abstract

The invention discloses a video coding method using a coding mode including DBBP in a multi-view or three-dimensional video coding system. According to the present invention, when the DBBP is encoded in the current texture CU, the DBBP partition mode is transmitted, so that the decoder does not need to go through complicated calculations to derive the DBBP partition mode. Various examples of determining the DBBP partitioning scheme are disclosed herein.
